We stand with the Black community. We know that deep racial inequities exist in every area that Medina funds, and we are committed to our own learning and to supporting our nonprofit partners that provide critical services and work tirelessly to dismantle systemic racism.
A Note About COVID-19
Over the past year, we’ve seen how organizations are rising to unbelievable challenges, going above and beyond, and showing up every single day. Even when everything feels so overwhelming, you are all making a difference. Thank you. The Medina Foundation is continuing our work of making general operating grants and supporting basic needs and essential human services. We have contributed to fourteen of the COVID-19 Rapid Response Funds in the regions where Medina funds, streamlined processes for our grantees, and increased our 2020 grantmaking budget. We will all get through this together.
The Medina Foundation is a family foundation that works to foster positive change in the Greater Puget Sound area.
In honoring the vision of our founder, Norton Clapp, the Medina Foundation aspires to improve lives by funding human service organizations that provide direct support to Puget Sound residents.
Today, the family continues Norton Clapp's legacy by funding innovative organizations that approach tough problems with new ideas and solutions, as well as proven programs that have been meeting the needs of the community for many years.
